Do you know what information abdominal ultrasound provides?
During an abdominal ultrasound examination, we primarily assess the solid organs of the abdominal and pelvic cavity, as well as fluid-filled hollow organs. The examination allows evaluation of the size and structure of individual organs and helps detect both symptomatic and asymptomatic abnormalities, such as inflammation, stones, tumors, metastases of malignant diseases, fluid or pus collections in the abdominal cavity, and occult bleeding.
With abdominal ultrasound, the following organs can be examined, among others:
pancreas
kidneys
adrenal glands
spleen
urinary bladder
ovaries, uterus
prostate
intestines
abdominal blood vessels
liver, gallbladder, and
bile ducts
This year, Pro-Vitam Clinic is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its establishment. On this occasion, in February, Dr. Katalin Dallos-Fejér is performing abdominal ultrasound examinations at our clinic with a 30% discount.
