Dr. András-Korodi Mónika
genetic engineer, biotechnologist, PhD in chemistry
She began her university studies at the Hungarian Sapientia University in Transylvania, Faculty of Genetic Engineering (2014-2018), then followed a master’s program in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology in Târgu Mureș (2018-2019 ). In 2022, she obtained another Master’s degree, at the Faculty of Medical Biology of Babeș-Bolyai University. In 2025, she obtained her PhD in chemistry at the Doctoral School of Chemistry of the University of Pécs, Hungary.
Mónika is a member of the Pro-Vitam research team since 2018. Mónika demonstrated her outstanding professional knowledge and dedication during the pandemic that will start in spring 2020. She was actively involved in the processing of the COVID-19 samples, in the development of the workflow for the analysis PCR of samples and was an active participant until the end of the pandemic. He also performed the sequencing of the coronavirus samples. His main research activity and PhD topic is the development of an ELISA kit for the detection of the immune response after SARS-CoV-2 infection or anti-COVID-19 vaccination and the investigation of the immune response in the general population.
